Chinese History Field Trip:
historical figures and incidents identifies in
Dongguan and Zhongshan
Our school endeavors to provide students with diverse learning opportunities so as to enrich their study experiences. In 2017 July, our Chinese History Subject Panel organized a field trip. The trip provided students with the opportunities to participate in programmes conducted outside Hong Kong. Students travelled to Dongguan and Zhongshan. The programme aimed at broadening the exposure of students, facilitating their understanding in Chinese history.
Objectives of the activities:
- To understand Sun Yat-sen's life, explore his struggle, rationale for reformation and contribution to the country
- To understand The Xinhai Revolution
- To learn how to defend the country and acquire indomitable faith through the understanding of the incident of ‘The Destruction of Opium at Humen’
