2018 Performance / Study Pathways of G12 Students

 

2018 HKDSE Examination Results

Our G12 students have performed very well in the 2018 HKDSE Examination, which is a vivid demonstration of the effectiveness of “through-train” operation in the nurturing of students.

Admission to Local Universities

  • Latest situation regarding the admission of students to local universities via the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS),

  • Some of our outstanding students have been admitted to “competitive” programmes, including Medicine, the double degree programme of Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and Bachelor of Laws, Quantitative Finance and Occupational Therapy, etc.

Admission to Other Prestigious Universities

  • A total of 8 G12 students had been admitted into the undergraduate programmes through the “Principal’s Nomination Scheme” of prestigious Mainland universities in late 2017 or mid-2018, including Tsinghua University and The University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
  • Around 20 students will pursue their undergraduate studies at prestigious universities in the United Kingdom and Australia, etc2018 NCUK IFY Programme Results

The first cohort of students taking the NCUK IFY Programme (taking the English for Academic Purposes Module and 3 elective subject modules) have excellent performance in IFY Examinations.

Pathway of IFY Graduates

  • All the IFY students have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree programmes of their first-choice university via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) of the United Kingdom. 
  • All the offers are granted by Russell Group universities (with the universities being within the world-wide ranking of top 100).

 

Destination of 2018 Graduates

Around 99% students have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree, sub-degree or post-secondary programmes of local / Mainland / overseas universities or tertiary institutes.  The percentage of students admitted to bachelor’s degree programmes is around 80%.
