1. Admission to Local Universities
- Latest situation regarding the admission of students to local universities via the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) :

- Some of our outstanding students have been admitted to “competitive” programmes, including Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Law, double degree programme of Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws, double degree programme of Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and Bachelor of Laws, double degree programme of Bachelor of Social Sciences (Government and Laws) and Bachelor of Laws, Quantitative Finance, Risk Management and Engineering with an Extended Major in Artificial Intelligence, etc
2. Admission to Other Universities
- A total of 4 students have been admitted to the 2022-23 bachelor’s degree programmes of Tsinghua University, Fudan University and University of Nottingham Ningbo China through the “Principal’s Nomination Scheme” of Mainland universities.
- Over 10 students have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree programmes of prestigious overseas universities, including the University of Oxford, University College London in the United Kingdom, University of New South Wales, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, Monash University in Australia, etc.
- Pathways of NCUK IFY Students
1. Admission to UK universities
- All the IFY students have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree programmes of United Kingdom (UK) universities via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) of UK.
- Around 91% of our IFY students have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree programmes of Russell Group universities (with the universities being within the world-wide ranking of top 100), including the University of Cambridge, University College London, University of Edinburgh, University of Manchester, University of Bristol, University of Leeds, Durham University, University of Sheffield, University of Birmingham, Queen Mary University of London and Cardiff University, etc.
- Programmes to which our IFY students have been admitted include physiotherapy, international business, accounting and finance, aerospace engineering and computer science, etc.
2. Admission to Other Universities
- 9 students have made use of their IFY results to apply for local universities. They have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree programmes of prestigious UGC-funded universities, including the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University of Hong Kong, etc. Programmes to which our students have been admitted include occupational therapy, physiotherapy, biomedical science, financial technology and business administration, etc.
- 5 students have made use of their IFY results to apply for universities outside the UK. They have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree programmes of prestigious overseas universities, including University of New South Wales, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, University of Queensland and Monash University under the Group of Eight Australian Universities and University of Alberta in Canada, etc.
- Destination of 2022 Graduates
On the whole, around 80% students have been admitted to the bachelor’s degree programmes of local / Mainland / overseas universities. The percentage of students admitted to the bachelor’s degree, sub-degree or post-secondary programmes of local / Mainland / overseas universities or tertiary institutes is around 96%.
