2015-2016 School Re-opening Ceremony

The 2015-2016 school opening ceremony was held on 2 September 2015. In the opening speech, Principal Wu Yuk Chi introduced the school supervisor, Mr Tsang Yuk Shing, and the two new assistant principals, Teacher Tommy WONG and Teacher TSE Ping Sin to the old and new students. Principal Wu also briefly reported on the achievements of our last year’s G12 students. He said that the performance of our graduates in the 2015 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination was good and encouraging.

Principal Wu also mentioned the three major concerns for 2015-2016, which include: developing the 12-year coherent curriculum, enhancing the standard of writing of students and strengthening students’ self-management skills and fostering the spirit of caring for and respecting others. He also announced the phrase one development plan for the funds raising programme, ‘Pui Kiu College Development Fund’. The development fund is aimed at improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning through enhancing the school facilities.
