Position: Shenzhen and Hong Kong Pui Kiu music sisters school exchange and Guangzhou music learning tour
Under the Leadership Training Programme funded by the Bank of China, a total of 48 members of the primary and secondary school choirs of our school went to Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Longhua Xinyi School to have joint music performances with the students of the Shenzhen school choir from July 3 to 5, 2023. Principal Tommy Wong was invited to deliver a speech, and violin lecturer Zheng Kangjie also have a music sharing session with both schools' students.
After the exchanging activities, we went to Guangzhou and having a school visit at South China Normal University. Professor Ricky Yeung led the music students to perform and share with the students. Our students benefited a lot.
We also visited the Guangzhou Opera House, Guangzhou Museum and Cantonese Opera Museum in the exchange group. The students have a certain understanding of the development of Guangzhou culture and art.
This exchange tour not only improved the students' music level, but also promoted the exchange and friendship between Hong Kong and Shenzhen Pui Kiu College, and also allowed students to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and art.
