China Merchants Group's Tomorrow's Leaders Training Program: Hong Kong Students Deepen Their Understanding of the Motherland During Chongqing Study Tour

On October 22, 2024, students from Pui Kiu College participating in the China Merchants Group's "Tomorrow's Leaders" Training Program embarked on a five-day study tour in Chongqing. With the strong support of the China Merchants Charity Foundation, the event was a great success, enhancing students' understanding of Chongqing's history, culture, and economy through on-site visits and exchanges.

The study group visited various locations, including the Jianchuan Museum, the Haijiang Museum, the Zengjiayan Jialing River Bridge, and the China Merchants Jinshan Yiku Cultural and Creative Industry Park. They not only appreciated Chongqing's unique urban landscape, but also gained deep insights into the city's historical background and cultural heritage, furthering their connection to the motherland.

Additionally, students actively participated in discussions on topics such as Chongqing's economy and cultural preservation, formulating four themes for exploration. They will report their findings in group presentations, further developing their critical thinking and teamwork skills.
