Renowned mathematician Professor Po-Shen LOH holds a special lecture for the students of Pui Kiu College

On November 29, 2024, renowned mathematician Professor Po-Shen Loh visited Pui Kiu College to conduct a special lecture for the students on the impact of artificial intelligence to the future.

As the former head coach of the U.S. National Math Olympiad Team, Professor Po-Shen Loh has achieved remarkable success and possesses extensive experience in the field of mathematics. In this lecture, he primarily shared insights on the trending topics in AI, particularly how AI technology will change the future. Professor Loh also analyzed the skills that will be essential in future workplaces, guiding students on how to equip themselves to face upcoming challenges.

Students actively seized the opportunity to ask questions, creating a lively atmosphere during the event. Principal Ng Ching Man expressed that promoting education and science is a national development strategy.
