A grade 11 Student has been admitted by the Department of Mathematics, Oxford University. PUI KIU COLLEGE

On 18^th August, 2016, our student Chong Chun Ho has attained excellent result in the IAL (International A-Level) Examination. He has scored A* in Mathematics, Chemistry and Further Mathematics. Through UCAS, Chong Chun Ho received offers from three prestigious universities in which he decided to further his education in the Oxford University, with the four-year MMath programme.

Chong Chun Ho belongs to the first batch of students admitted to the Pui Kiu college (Primary School). The teachers spotted his talents in Science subjects and with encouragement, Chong Chun Ho prepared for the HKDSE together with the IAL.

Starting from this year, Pui Kiu College offers international curriculum for 20 grade 10 students. The students study for HKDSE and IAL simultaneously. For those with exceptional academic result, they can sit for IAL at grade 11, with the hopes of entering university a year ahead. By studying IAL, students can apply for non-JUPAS with their IAL results and enhance the chances of further their studies in universities they desired.
